Career Change/Burnout
Nov 05, 2026
One thing that we hear constantly is that people want to talk to mental health practitioners who share similar lived experiences. There is immense value in this, because it helps us feel truly seen, heard, and understood without having to explain the baseline of who we are.
Career changes can feel daunting, especially when tied to uncertainty surrounding stability, finances, and purpose. Our jobs occupy so much of our everyday lives, so its natural for job-related stresses and worries to influence our everyday mood and wellbeing. Navigating these difficulties can be an overwhelming task, and can sometimes make it hard for us to remember our original intentions and interests.
That’s why we’ve compiled this post featuring practitioners from our list who have personal, lived experience with career change and/or burnout, and would love to support you on this journey. We hope this helps you find a practitioner who truly resonates with your story.
